The TVC team is a brand new project this year that is experimenting with thrust vector control systems with the possibility of building an exhibition rocket for the SAC in the coming years. Thrust Vector Control (TVC) is how orbital rockets are controlled, and works by rotating the engine to turn the rocket.

Moving forward we hope to develop both our own software and our own hardware for future TVC rockets. The software portion of this project will probably involve extensive collaboration with our newly formed GNC team. The hardware portion will involve scaling up the motor mounts from low to mid power size to full high power sized motor mounts for launching larger rocket to higher altitudes.
